In class, my students have spent four days researching a topic of their choice. Today they started writing papers with this information. Here is my favorite quote from today:
"Martin Luther King, Jr. was born, had a dream, and died."
I literally cried so hard I laughed when she read this to the class. I felt terrible because she was so proud but, um, seriously? No more specific information was available to use for this thesis statement??
I love my students!
