McCarty

I absolutely love McCarty pottery. This was something that I didn't know existed until I moved to Oxford. When my mom and I went to Oxford Floral to set up my registry, the helpful sales lady asked if I was interested in McCarty. We took a quick look, not realizing what it was, and I said sure.

Fast forward to later in the year, and I kept hearing people talk about McCarty. Finally, I received my first piece (well, pieces) of McCarty at my work shower. My work shower had an ABC theme, fitting for a teacher, and a bunch of people went in on McCarty soup bowls for 'alphabet soup.' Too cute! This gift started my obsession.

I have since received as gifts a platter, a vase, the bowl in my guest bath, the green plate holding my napkins, one of the small bowls, two medium bowls, a round, blue platter, and a wind chime from my wonderful hubby. I've purchased for myself the salt and pepper bowls and a medium-sized pitcher. I've given as gifts countless pieces. I can't say enough how much I love McCarty! If only I had enough money to add to my collection. True love :)

My entire collection (minus the wind chime).

Most pieces sit in my china hutch unless I'm using them.

I love this bowl! It is my mom's but I am temporarily borrowing it until she moves to Oxford :)

Another favorite bowl. One day I will get around to putting hand towels in it, but for now it just sits, looking pretty. Thanks, Andrea!

My salt and pepper bowls with handmade little spoons. Love 'em!
