Drum Roll Please

Edited to add: Blogger seems to be malfunctioning. Rather randomly might I add. For some reason, it won't let me space out my paragraphs for the second half of my post. So sorry! I'll keep trying, but if you read it before I can fix it, my apologies for everything running together!

Here is the long awaited post on my wonderful, amazing, superb Steam Mop!

And, for an extra special added bonus, another of my favorite appliances: my crock pot!

Try to control yourself. I know this is very exciting.

First, these two things have something very important in common. Something that is as equally wonderful, amazing and superb.

Any guesses?

That would be my mother-in-law, Kathy!

Here are Richie, me, Kathy & John enjoying dinner at Old Venice.
And here is Kathy, dancing at our wedding with Richie's brother Verne. They both look so nice! I love this picture (especially Uncle Steve's expression in the background). And I really couldn't talk about Kathy without mentioning her sweet little girl, Emma. This is Emma when she was still a puppy (spring 2007). She is great for cuddling and kissing, but Richie prefers she stay off the furniture and away from his things. I did, however, manage to talk Richie into letting Emma into our bedroom one night when John & Kathy were out late. He wouldn't let her on the bed, so I moved to the floor to keep her company. She is one seriously cute pup! Wow, totally off track. Where was I?

Oh yes, the steam mop. And Kathy. What do they have to do with each other?

Well, Kathy was the one who told me about the steam mop. And, she was kind enough to purchase it for me. She is so thoughtful! I am loving cleaning since this thing arrived.

Feast your eyes on this beauty!

The white pad comes off, and gets thrown in the washing machine when it is dirty. Basically, it lasts forever and there is nothing to ever buy or replace. Music to my ears!
There are other pads that go on the mop besides this medium white one. There is a larger one for bigger spaces, a triangular one for bathrooms (think cleaning around toilets- genius, right?), and a big fuzzy one for baseboards and hardwood floors. Really, something to clean my baseboards without me having to bend down? I was sold right there.
It also comes with this attachment thing to steam your carpets and mattress. Yes, truly amazing!
Thank you, Kathy, for changing my cleaning life!
Another way Kathy has helped improved my life is by buying for me this fabulous stainless steel crock pot. The insert comes out, easy for cleaning. And it can be used on the stove and in the oven. Amazing! I tell you, this thing is great for my life. I can turn it on when I leave, and I come home to dinner warming.
I also use it when I have a big ol' batch of something to make, and it sits on the stove. It is really wonderful.
Once again, thank you Kathy for showing me the way!

I am one lucky girl, that's for sure!
PS- like my pink shorts in the reflection?? I didn't realize it until after I took the picture :-)
We head to California to visit Kathy, John and Verne (wish we could see Mayia but she is home in the Ukraine) next week. Can't wait!! My first trip to Cali, and I couldn't ask for better company!
