Month 4

Isaac turned 4 months old and had an eventful month.

He was sitting on his own this month, a milestone he really enjoyed. The fall brought cool air and Ike wore his first jacket.

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for

many walks together. Ike & I spent most Saturday mornings

strolling the neighborhood. He loves his stroller! (And we love

it too! It's a Graco Travel System-- great quality and easy

to use when Isaac falls asleep in his carseat; it just snaps right

on so no waking the baby!)

I wanted to hold off on feeding Isaac solids as long as I could

since I was nursing him, but he was eating 12-15 times a day,

so we had to supplement his diet. He started with rice cereal and loved it.

We then gave him sweet potatoes and, well, see his reaction and

judge for yourself:

October also brought my dad's birthday. We did a little

photoshoot for Grampy.

Still enjoying being naked. He discovered his toes and never

wanted to let them go. (Thanks Tee Tee Crystal for helping

him find them!)
Mimi & Grandpa (my parents) bought Isaac a walker.

He was so excited he squealed the first time we put him in

it. It took him about 2 weeks before he could really

cruise but he still enjoyed just hanging out in it.

Isaac's 1st Halloween-- he was a sailor, just like his Dad!

My big boy weighs 18lb 12oz & is in the 97th percentile this month. He is 25in tall.
