Month 5

At 5 months, Isaac no longer sits nicely for pictures. He

was too busy trying to figure out how to crawl.He got on the ground after the first picture and immediately

got into his push up position.
After I put him back on the chair, he started
blowing bubbles. Up until this month, he'd
always posed nicely, smiled...looks like my little boy is
growing up right before my eyes!
He sat for a second but didn't smile.
Grammy & Pawpaw came from California for a visit at Thanksgiving.
Pawpaw couldn't get enough of Isaac.

Here are Isaac's great-grandparents, who adore him to pieces.
Richie & Isaac spend Fridays at their house so that Ike
can get to know them (& they can get to know him).

Our little family- I love this picture! We were heading to the
big Martin picture at Uncle Mikes. All but 3 of the 58 Martins
made it to take the family picture and celebrate Thanksgiving. My big boy...I love him!

My two handsome boys. They make my heart fill with joy & love.

This was Isaac's first time in big boy jeans (too bad they

were too small and he had to wear other pants for the real picture--

I couldn't even button them!).
My birthday, first one with Isaac. This was taken

after a very long day. I look so tired because I was!

We had a wonderful dinner at the University Club.

We go there frequently and Isaac behaves so well. The owners

fawn over him & the waitress all want to hold him. Isaac started holding his bottle. He also started drinking

from a sippy cup. He prefers to drink "big boy style" (aka

no top) but he needs more supervision for that.

Isaac and Nevin-- 2 1/2 months apart. This was their 2nd

visit; they were unaware the first time they met.

Ike LOVED playing with his Aunt Mayia. She was so good with him-

can't wait for Mayia & Verne to have some cousins for Ike!

Emma was very protective of Isaac...but I guess she fell

asleep on the job. It's hard work keeping up with an

active 5 month old!

With all this chub, it's no wonder Isaac weighs in the 97th percentile. At 5 months he weighs 21lb even. He's also 25in tall.
